Home to the replica of the Dunbrody Famine Ship on the quayfront, which transported John F Kennedy's great grandparents to the United States of America, New Ross makes a great base from which to drive around the scenic Ring of Hook and take in the Hook lighthouse and both Dunbrody and Tintern Abbey.
